Lisa Moorhouse - Network Director
Lisa Moorhouse joined the Trust as part of the Transforming Community Services redesign in 2011. She came in as Head of Business Development, a role she had developed from its inception in Central Lancashire PCT’s Provider arm. This role expanded to include the contracting function for the Trust in addition to supporting the Networks and corporate teams with their business development and tender programmes. In June 2014 Lisa was offered an opportunity to return to operational management within the Adult Mental Health Network and was appointed to the Network Director role in March 2015.

Lisa joined the NHS in 1989 having qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist. She worked In Liverpool and Macclesfield as a clinician specialising in communication and swallowing disorders for adults with acquired neurological conditions. Her specialism in dysphagia involved devising and lecturing on a post graduate programme at the Manchester Metropolitan University.  Lisa held a number of clinical and leadership posts in Macclesfield before joining Chorley and South Ribble PCT as District Speech and language Therapist in 2002. This role was short-lived and, as a result of the integration of uni-professional services, Lisa was appointed to the newly developed role of Assistant Director for Adult Services with responsibility for prison health, sexual health, learning disability, primary care mental health, rheumatology, dietetic and dental services.  In 2006 Lisa became Head of Operations for Service Development in Central Lancs PCT and set up a small team supporting clinical teams to develop quality services with a business focus. This small team expanded with the support of LCFT and was the foundation of the TAS team as it now known.
