The Children & Families Network

Our services are jointly led by Lynne Braley, Network Director and Dr Warren Larkin, Clinical Director.

Lynne Braley - Network Director
Lynne began her career as a registered nurse working in intensive / coronary care and subsequently worked in a number of clinical roles including Health Visiting and Specialist / Named / Designated Nurse for Child Protection.

She gained a Master's degree in Management Development in 2012 and has more recently worked in both commissioning and senior management roles, including her current role as Network Director, having responsibility for both delivery and partnerships relating to Children and Family Services.

  Dr Warren Larkin - Clinical Director
Warren is the Clinical Director for the Children and Families Network. He joined Lancashire Care 6 years ago as Lead Consultant Clinical Psychologist for the Early Intervention in Psychosis Service. Warren is also an Honorary Lecturer in Clinical Psychology at Lancaster University.

In his role as Clinical Director, Warren will be working with colleagues to promote clinician and practitioner engagement by developing clear, robust structures and prominent roles for senior clinical leaders to co-produce services by working in partnership with network managers. Continuous quality improvement and clinical effectiveness will be principles underpinning everything that we do and implementing the Trust Quality Strategy will be one of my personal priorities. Research and Innovation have for some time been recognised as an area of strength for this network and we will be aiming to continue this tradition by increasing our capacity for high quality research and innovation by proactively engaging with colleagues in our Community Services.
