    Affiliate Membership

The Trust wants to engage with its partner organisations, patients and the people who use our services to enable closer working across Lancashire; we want to ensure that our services are developed in a way that reflects the needs of people and takes account of their experience. In light of this an Affiliate Membership scheme has been launched and partner organisations are warmly invited to register.

    Affiliate Members would be:

    • Involved in the Trust’s future planning process
    • Invited to attend events
    • Encouraged to give feedback on a range of issues
    • Kept up to date on the Trust’s work through a monthly Affiliate Member eBulletin and twice yearly Foundation News

The Trust will work with its Members and Affiliate Members on addressing some of the big questions around the future of our services, patient and carer experience and development of good practice. We will do this by creating Membership Panels across general or specific interest areas so that we can get a targeted exchange of views. Please visit the Membership Panel page for further information.

Two membership conferences will bring together both Members and Affiliate Members in a ‘World Café’ style event where we will provide an opportunity to have some large scale conversations with a broad range of people from a variety of backgrounds and perspectives about some of the key strategic questions that we face.

    Trust Engagement

All members will receive regular updates and information about the work of the Trust and be informed about other opportunities to get involved, including our new monthly Affiliate Member eBulletin and Foundation News.

Affiliate Membership will mirror the individual Membership engagement arrangements that are in place but would be for organisations or groups who feel that there would be benefit in maintaining regular contact and receiving information about our services and the work that we do.

Our Affiliate Members would not have the constitutional rights of individual members and so could not vote at the Annual Members Meeting or Elections, however we would proactively engage with them in the same way that we do with other members of the Trust.
