Lancashire Traumatic Stress Service
The Lancashire Traumatic Stress service was established in 2008 by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust. The remit of the service is to provide a specialist assessment and treatment service for individuals who experience a significant range of distressing symptoms following an event which they have found to be traumatic.
The service is based in Chorley and has a number of staff with specialist skills and experience in the assessment and treatment of trauma.
How to access the serviceThe LTSS accepts referrals from CCTTs and aims to undertake trauma specific work in the context of care co-ordination and on-going local service involvement.
All potential referrals to Lancashire Traumatic Stress Service need to be discussed with a member of the team in the first instance.
