Routine Enquiry about Adversity in Childhood (REACh)

REACh is for everyone.

Research has found that people who experience trauma or adversity in childhood are more likely to have poor physical and mental health and social outcomes in the future.

REACh (Routine Enquiry about Adversity in Childhood) is about asking people directly about adverse experiences which may assist them in understanding their current circumstances and enable us to plan more focussed interventions.

REACh should be a part of any integrated prevention and early intervention service.
