From 1 August 2018, Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust and its partners will be providing the new ‘Central Lancashire Moving Well’ service for people who are experiencing musculoskeletal issues, chronic fatigue and persistent pain.

Central Lancashire Moving Well* incorporates community physiotherapy, rheumatology, MSK, chronic fatigue and pain management services. The service seeks to improve outcomes for people who have problems with their muscles or joints and will have a focus on prevention and early intervention.

Services will be provided from a number of locations across Chorley, South Ribble and Greater Preston, making appointments more convenient for patients. People will be offered a choice of location at the time of making an appointment.

Details of all clinic locations will be available on the Lancashire Care directory.

It is now possible for you to self-refer to the community physiotherapy element of the service.

Please note you must be registered with a GP in the Chorley, South Ribble and Greater Preston areas to be able to access this service.

This can be done by calling 01772 520 900 or by visiting our self-referral web page

*Central Lancashire Moving Well is an NHS service commissioned by Greater Preston CCG and Chorley & South Ribble CCG, and delivered by Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust as lead provider with Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and Ascenti as partners.
