    Debbie Wisby

    Dr Debbie Wisby is a registered nurse and midwife and has worked in academia since 1998. She is the College Director for Business Development and Lead Midwife for Education in the College of Health & Wellbeing at the University of Central Lancashire. Her clinical experience ranges from working in Accident and Emergency, General Practice Nursing, Midwifery and Sexual Health. Debbie is currently Chair of the Royal College of Nurses Midwifery Forum, is a Nursing and Midwifery Council Reviewer and a member of the Royal College of Midwives. Her research interests focus upon narrative enquiry, professional identity and role change following the completion of her Doctorate in Education in 2014.

    Paul has been a nominated Governor since February 2019. He has had over 10 years’ experience of leading and developing services in the charitable sector. He is currently the Business Development Director of a Charity called NCompass Northwest which delivers health and social care services including advocacy, counselling, health and wellbeing and carers’ services. Paul is passionate about growing the scale and impact of the 3rd sector in delivering health and social care services.
