Stress Control

What is it?

A six session class - this is not group therapy and no discussion of personal problems in the class. Facilitated by PWP’s who use CBT techniques to reduce stress by teaching better coping strategies. It combines stress management with Mindfulness and Positive Psychology strategies to boost wellbeing. Classes are supported by slideshow presentations, hand-outs, video, audio and relaxation and mindfulness tracks. It is great to see how many other people are affected. You can learn to become your own therapist!

Who is it good for?

People who want to listen and learn techniques to cope better. People who don't particularly want to talk about their problems with others.
