Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust is now recruiting for a variety of roles at The Harbour, the new state of the art inpatient mental health unit in Blackpool.
There are a variety of roles available ranging from Consultants to Physiotherapists, Secretaries and Housekeepers. The Harbour will provide a total of 154 beds and is due to become operational in Spring 2015. The development is part of the Trust’s on-going commitment to modernised inpatient mental health services and improving the quality of care it delivers.
The new unit will achieve a more therapeutic environment for the people who use the service and better working conditions for staff.
Craig Barratt, Executive Director of Workforce, Innovation and Transformation at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust said:
“The Harbour is a state of the art design for inpatient mental health accommodation. This has come after several years of focused work by clinicians, service users and carers to create their ideal environment for providing and receiving care. We are now looking for applicants who have a real person-centred approach to their work and are keen to make a visit to The Harbour a positive one for service users, their carers and visitors. The Trust is dedicated to helping employees achieve their very best and offer a wide range of opportunities for personal development, as well as encouraging workplace health and access to a range of benefits and discounts.
“We are now looking for talented people to join us on this exciting new venture which will provide the people of Lancashire the latest in healthcare facilities and the very best in mental health care.”
