There’s just one week left for people in Lancashire to recognise health professionals or teams who have made a real difference to their healthcare experience.
Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust provides health and wellbeing services across the county and as part of their annual Staff Awards celebrations, are now inviting members of the public to submit nominations for their People’s Choice Award. The winner of the award will be voted for by the public and announced at the awards ceremony in March next year. The deadline for nominations is Friday 31 October.
Heather Tierney-Moore, Chief Executive at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust said:
“The People’s Choice Award was launched last year and we received a phenomenal response from members of the public which was great to see. We’re once again giving people the opportunity to nominate individuals or teams who they think deserve special recognition for the work they do to improve experiences for service users and their families.
“We are privileged to have so many dedicated members of staff working here at Lancashire Care and this is a great opportunity for members of the public to speak out about a positive experience they’ve had.
“It’s often the little things that can make a real difference to the service user experience and this category allows the public to have their say and help us recognise some of the outstanding contributions our staff make on a regular basis.”
The People’s Choice category allows members of the public to nominate a team, individual or service who they feel should be recognised for their hard work and determination. They will be high performing, delivering over and above expectations and always strive for improvement. We are looking for nominations that are an inspiration to others, demonstrate commitment and determination and always go that extra mile to get excellent results.
To vote please visit www.lancashirecare.nhs.uk/Peoples-Choice-2015 and complete a nomination form. The deadline for nominations is Friday 31 October 2014.
