People’s Choice Award 2017

Posted on the 26th October 2016

People living in Lancashire are being given the chance to nominate health professionals who deserve recognition for their hard work, for the annual People’s Choice Award.

The People’s Choice Award allows members of the public to nominate a team, individual or service who they feel should be recognised for their hard work and determination. They will be high performing, delivering over and above expectations and always strive for improvement. We are looking for nominations that are an inspiration to others, demonstrate commitment and determination and always go that extra mile to get excellent results.

Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust holds an annual staff awards ceremony to celebrate the success of its members of staff. As part of ceremony the Trust is reaching out to local residents for nominations for this year’s People’s Choice Award. The winner of the award will be announced in March 2017 at the awards ceremony at the Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel and Spa

Heather Tierney-Moore, Chief Executive at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust said:

“The People’s Choice Award is really special as it is the one award that is decided by members of the public. We believe that it is important for the people who receive our care to be given an opportunity to acknowledge the great work that is going on across Lancashire. We know that there are lots of staff out there who are delivering excellent, compassionate care and we hope that the public can spare five minutes of their time to submit a nomination for an individual or team that has truly made a difference to their lives.”
