As forecasts suggest temperatures over the next two weeks may rise above 30C across the North West, local doctors are issuing some advice for how to stay safe during the long awaited British summer. 

Rising temperatures increase the likelihood of dehydration, heatstroke and overheating, putting older people and infants most at risk. To help residents cope, our commissioners have issued some tips on how to recognise symptoms and how to stay healthy and safe during the forecasted heatwave.
