Speaking of Dee’s appointment Heather Tierney-Moore, Chief Executive at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust said:

“We are delighted to welcome Dee back to the Trust and look forward to her contributing to the work the Trust is doing to improve the quality of the health and wellbeing services that we provide. Dee brings with her a wealth of experience in leading and developing Nursing services and brings a range of skills to the board which will help us to continue to strive for improvement and excellence.”

Dee speaks of her appointment:

“It feels great to be back at Lancashire Care and I’m really looking forward to the challenges ahead. I’m hoping to meet with staff from our services first of all so we can work closely together to really build on the great work the Trust is doing to improve patient care.”

Dee is a nurse by background and has returned to Lancashire Care from Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust where she was the Executive Director of Quality, Improvement and Patient Experience. She was at the forefront of the Trust’s work around improving quality and increasing the focus on patient experience and recovery. Passionate about quality and patient experience, Dee will build on the solid foundations that have been established by Acting Director of Nursing, Colin Dugdale across the Trust’s services to improve outcomes, exceed standards and deliver compassionate care.
