Lancashire Care shortlisted for Nursing Times Workforce Awards

The Nursing Times Workforce Awards recognise and reward the excellent work that is being done by employers to support their workforce and have successfully shortlisted Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust for a prestigious award.

The Trust’s Recruitment have been shortlisted for the ‘Best Recruitment Experience’ category at this year’s awards and have been recognised for their strategic approach to improving people’s experience of recruitment and for their commitment to values based recruitment over the last few years.

The team’s values based recruitment process project has involved ensuring that the Trust’s values run through the questions which are asked as part of the recruitment process. By incorporating the values within this process, the team have been able to successfully recruit the right people and those who truly withhold the organisations values.

Farzana Kauser, Recruitment Manager at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust said:
