    Temporary Staffing Recruitment Process

Lancashire Care Foundation Trust want to make sure your recruitment experience goes as smoothly and successfully as possible. This information will help guide you through the process.

    Application process:

All applications are submitted through NHS jobs. If sufficient applications are received the advert may close earlier than the closing date, so please submit your application at the earliest opportunity.

Once the advert is closed, the Temporary Staffing Team will send the shortlisting to the recruiting managers.

    Shortlisting Process:

Once shortlisting is complete the recruiting manager will notify the Temporary Staffing Team with details of the interview arrangements. The Temporary Staffing Team will arrange for the invites to be sent out electronically via NHS Jobs.  When you received your interview invite via the email address on your NHS application, you will be able to select the next available slot and confirm your attendance.

If you have not heard back within 4 weeks of the closing date then your application may not have been shortlisted.

    Interview Process:

What will happen at the interview/ assessment?
This depends on the job you have been shortlisted for. Details of how the day will run will be included in the information we send you prior to attending.  If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Temporary Staffing team, you will need to provide details of the vacancy reference number.

    After the interview:

All applicants will be informed of the interview outcome on the day of the interview.

If you have been successful then the Temporary Staffing team will begin your pre-employment checks and issue you with a conditional offer letter.

We cannot agree a starting date with you until all your pre-employment checks and initial core training have been completed. If you are currently in work, please do not hand in your notice until you have an agreed starting date.

    Successful Candidates:

Once all pre-employment checks and initial core training are complete, the Temporary Staffing team will contact you with a start date and request an ID Badge for you.

The Temporary Staffing Terms of Registration will be issued to you within 2 weeks of your start date

    Unsuccessful candidates:

The panel will advise you of an unsuccessful outcome at interview and may give feedback at this point or request that you contact them at a later date to discuss your performance.
