The Cove is an 18 bedded in-patient service for young people aged 13-18 years from across Lancashire offering an assessment, planned treatment and intervention service which supports young people with severe mental health issues who can no longer be safely and effectively managed in their own home/community setting and need a specialist inpatient service.
The Service provides a wide range of psychological, medical and social interventions from an experienced Multidisciplinary team which includes Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Support Workers, Nurses, Occupational Therapist, Dietician and Social Worker.
Young people and families are actively encouraged to participate in their care planning and work in collaboration with the team, with support from our participation workers and independent advocate.
The service also provides on-site education, provided by Lancashire County Council.
